Women’s Fellowships - 2010
The women’s fellowship is the first Saturday of each month.  The next is August 7th, 2010. Please mark your calendars and try to attend at the Tea Room, Every Bloomin’ Thing between the hours of 9:00 to 11:00 am.  We have fixed a two hour time period for the fellowship but there is no need to stay for the entire 2 hours - if you are driving by and only have a few minutes please don’t let this keep you from enjoying even those few minutes of fellowship.  For more information please email Annette Epp at annettemepp@yahoo.com.

Men’s Breakfast Fellowship
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Heb 10:24-25)
On the 2nd Saturday of each month please join your brothers in Christ at Champion House 2, between 8:30 and 10:00 am. The next fellowship is on August 14th, 2010. There is a wonderful breakfast buffet available for only $10. For more info please email Pastor Bentley at bentley@fbc.org.ky

LIFE TOGETHER MEMBERSHIP WEEKEND
Friday August 13th, 2010~ 7 to 9 pm
Saturday August 14th, 2010 ~ 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
Persons interested in joining the FBC family are invited to attend our next new members’ orientation. Attending the class is not an obligation to join. We will discuss: ‘Why join a church?’; ‘What is the church?’; ‘What do we believe?’; ‘What is our church’s history?’; and ‘First Baptist Church basics’. Contact the church office on 949-0692 or email fbc@fbc.org.ky to RSVP so we will know how many to expect for the weekend session.

POT LUCK FELLOWSHIP
Sunday August 29th, 2010 after the Morning Service. Plan to stay and fellowship with the church family and hang out with your brothers and sisters in Christ. Drop your dishes to the back of the gym when you come in that Sunday morning.  Contact Cheryl Reid-Whittaker (929-8154) to assist the fellowship committee with the layout of the buffet, organizing paper products and recruiting for tidying up after the fellowship. Mark your calendars for other potlucks this year on August 29, October 31 and November 28.
