To the Ends of the Earth

The Mejias

Evelio and Jennifer Mejia are FBC missionaries currently working to reach youth in Colombia.

The Smiths

Jim and Karla serve with Wycliffe Bible Translators as literacy development and training specialists in Southeast Asia.

F.O.C.U.S.

The Fellowship of Christian U.A.E. Students is the only officially recognized college student ministry in the Middle East. Our church family provides financial support for the students and short-term visits for outreach and training. A centerpiece of this effort is the Christian-Muslim Dialogue sponsored every two years by the Muslim Student Association and the Christian Fellowship.

Ras al-Khaima Church Plant

Through the generosity of the Ruler of Ras Al-Khaima, Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, who has granted permission and land for the construction of an evangelical church for Christians living and working in the U.A.E., we’re able to provide financial and short-term visits for a new church plant. This will be one of only seven evangelical churches meeting freely and openly in the region. To learn more or to contribute to the church plant.

Access Partners

Access Partners helps to establish businesses in developing regions of southeast Asia. These businesses provide employment and skills for people in the region as well as a platform for gospel missions.

Southern Baptist Convention

First Baptist Church has enjoyed friendly cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention from its founding. Our first pastor was a retired missionary with the Convenation. We’ve been privileged to receive Lottie Moon funding and SBC journeymen in our early history. By God’s grace, we’ve grown from a receiving church to become a sending church and contributor to the SBC’s Cooperative Program. Our contributions are pooled with other member churches to provide support and training to SBC missionaries, education and training at SBC colleges and seminaries, and support for denomination publishing and bookstores.
