We periodically celebrate the baptism of those who profess faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and whose lives evidence genuine repentance of sin. Baptism symbolizes our spiritual union with Jesus Christ in His death and resurrection, and represents a person’s entrance into membership in the church family. We hold baptisms at Smith’s Cove in South Sound at the conclusion of our morning service. If you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and would like to talk with someone about following our Lord’s command to be baptized, please contact us at the church office.
The Lord’s Supper
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper once a month alternating between Sunday morning and evening services. As we do so, we recall the death and resurrection of Jesus, renew our commitment to His church, and look forward to His return. Visitors from other evangelical churches who are allowed to participate in communion at their churches are welcome to join us as we celebrate.
